January 2008  Nitrion do Brasil Ltda will be present again at the important Toolmaking, Patternmaking and Machining Show (FMU - Ferramentaria + Modelação + Usinagem) at the MEGACENTRO EXPOVILLE, Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brasil, held from March 11 to March 14, 2008 See pictures of Nitrion do Brasil Ltda. Both Bavarian Plants of German Nitrion GmbH have once again renewed their TUEV Certificates ISO 9001. The certificates do not only cover the nitriding services offered in the respective service shops but include methodical development and manufacturing of plasma nitriding plant as well.
To assist Brazilian customers of Nitrion do Brasil Ltda. in Guaramirim (S.C.) we have now displayed a special Plasma Nitriding Materials List on our Brazilian websites.. Apart from the DIN Material Numbers (e.g. "1.7131") customary not only within the German speaking community you´ll find material codes according to SAE (The Society of Automotive Engineers) respektively ABNT (Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas) as well as some materials to suit Villares company standards. May 2007 News from our Brazilian Plant in Guaramirim, S.C.: The Nitrion manufactured Plasma Nitriding System capable of nitriding parts of up to 5.000 mm in length has arrived at the Port of Itajaí, Brazil. The new plant will be in operation as from July 2007. Links: April 2007 Nitrion GmbH inaugurated Plant 3 in Bavaria Staff members of the Nitrion GmbH and representatives of the companies who have taken part in the construction work and last but not least the Otterfing Mayor Jakob Eglseder celebrated the official start-up of the additional factory. Here we have sufficient space for our nitriding service with five plasma nitriding systems and three of the planned six gas nitriding systems. Also, here the design and manufacturing department for Plasma Nitriding Systems offered by Nitrion has got the required floor space.

June 2006 An additional new Nitrion Service: Salt Spray (Fog) Corrosion Tests  A salt spray corrosion test machine for reproducible corrosion tests according to national
and international standards such as DIN, ISO, EN, IEC, ASTM, DEF, MIL-STD etc. was commissioned in May.

An additional Industrial Component Cleaning Machine has been put into
operation. The process runs totally under vacuum. The cleaning agent
used is a non-chlorinated solvent based on modified alcohols and is
suitable for difficult high performance cleaning applications such as
drawing + forming parts, sintered metals and lapped parts. The Canadian Heat-Treatment Newsletter "The Monty" visited Nitrion headquarters in Otterfing near Munich, Germany and reports: "....... Nitrion is one of the larger shops in Germany (based in Munich) who specializes in Nitriding. While they do mainly Plasma Nitriding, they also do a fair bit of gas nitriding and have recently been expanding the number of gas nitriders they have. ............ Feb. 4/05" |
